Golden vineyards & olympic
Discover the French part of Switzerland, visit the olympic city of Lausanne. Enjoy the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage golden vineyards of Lavaux by a small sightseeing train. Stroll around at the non touristic town of Vevey before relaxing at the lake shore of the famous town Montreux with it's beauftiful Castle of Chillon.
In the morning you'll visit Lausanne - the olympic city. After a short walk through the old town with it's amazing church built on the footsteps of a hill, you will head down to the lake side and if you like visit The Olympic museum. The Olympic museum shows you how people of all different parts of the world are connected and get together.
After this bustling French town we head to Lavaux - the golden vineyards and UNESCO World Heritage site.You'll enjoy a ride on the sightseeing train (April, Mai, October scenic ride by car) through this picturesque area. You can not take enough pictures of this fabulous scenery.
On the way to Montreux we will have a short break at the non-touristic charming town of Vevey where you can enjoy lunch. Vevey hosted many famous people such as Charly Chaplin and it has a great affinity to art so you can see at the masterpiece "fork in the lake"
In the afternoon you'll get to know one of the top hot spots in Switzerland - Montreux. Take a walk along the lake shore, have a coffee at the five star Palace Hotel or visit the famous Castle of Chillon which has been built in the lake.
