From Lucerne the train takes you to the mountain monastery village Engelberg where you board a gondola which takes you up to the Trübsee. You continue your trip by another gondola to Stand and finally the first revolving Titlis Rotair cable car takes you up to Mount Titlis (3020 m).
For a spectacular, close-up insight into a glacier, visit the glacier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift. And get your thrills on the Titlis Cliff Walk, a spectacular Suspension bridge at a height of 3041 meters.

Day 3 Lucerne – Interlaken

Per panoramic train you travel from Lucerne to Interlaken. Enjoy the wonderful landscape. A restaurant car is located in the middle of the train for hot and cold meals, beverages and snacks.

Overnight in Interlaken

Day 4 Excursion Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe

Today’s full day excursion takes you up to a unique, high-alpine glacier world. Aboard the legendary Jungfrau Railway you rach Europe’s highest altitude railway station (3454 m). Attractions: Sphinx Terrace, Ice Palace, Alpine Sensation round tour, Plateau with walks in the eternal snow (glacier).

Francine, Springfield, USA / September 18

Sibylle was our guide to tour the towns around Interlaken. She arranged warm Swiss quiches for our lunch in the park by the lake. A couple of days later she took us on a private tour of a cheesemaking factory in Gruyere followed by the Maison Cailler chocolate factory– and in between, she treated us to dessert and drinks at the H. R. Giger “Alien Bar” in Gruyere. Thank you, Sibylle, for your attentive guiding.
